What the AI actually does

A taste of the AI, made concrete

Two example outputs to give you a feel for the AI features included in the subscription. Bid/no-bid scoring

Example

Tender · NHS — Patient feedback platform · £180k · closes 28 days

8.2 / 10 fit Strong bid

Why

  • Two prior NHS Patient Experience wins in your library
  • Contract size matches your typical range
  • Cyber Essentials Plus needed — confirm before bidding

Multi-tender comparison

Example

Three NHS digital-services tenders, ranked side-by-side.

Tender Fit Value Effort Pick
Patient feedback platform 8.2 High Mid 1st
Workforce e-rostering 6.4 High High 2nd
Asset tracking pilot 3.1 Low Mid Skip

Recommended order: Patient feedback first — strongest fit and lowest delivery risk. Workforce e-rostering only if capacity allows; asset tracking is outside your usual delivery pattern.

Everything your membership includes

One plan, one price — £365/year + VAT. No tiers, no per-seat charges, no add-ons. Every feature below is included from day one.

Discover opportunities

  • Whole-of-UK public-sector coverage — every value tier, every devolved nation, refreshed 3 times a day
  • Forward pipeline — procurements departments & councils plan to run, typically 6–18 months ahead, before any tender exists
  • Pre-tender notices — buyers signalling what they intend to procure, so you engage before the spec is written
  • Re-procurement radar — contracts nearing expiry, so you can pre-empt the renewal
  • Framework & DPS register — live agreements you can join
  • AI-tagged market themes — AI, cyber, net zero & autonomous flagged on UK notices, and filterable
  • EU & EEA export opportunities for UK exporters
  • Every EU notice labelled with the language it was published in, so you know before you open it
  • Filter & sort — keyword, location, category, status, value tier, notice type, SME-suitable, deadline window, plus 6 sort orders
  • Best-fit ranking — puts the tenders most like your work first, from your company profile and then your own past bids. The ranking uses none of your AI allowance
  • New since you last looked — badged as you browse, so a weekly search shows what changed rather than the same list again
  • Not interested — hide a notice from your own list so you never triage it twice; your colleagues still see it
  • Closing within 3 / 7 / 14 / 30 days, with a days-left countdown on every card
  • Are we already on this? — filter by what your workspace is bidding on, so two people never work the same tender
  • CPV code prefix filter (drill into a procurement-class branch)
  • Framework / DPS toggle (show only, exclude, or include framework call-offs and DPS placements)
  • CPV codes, named contacts & tender document library on every detail page
  • Stage badges (Planning, Tender, Awarded, Contracted)
  • Buyer & supplier profile pages — aggregate spend, recent activity and who they actually work with
  • Buyer payments-out — the money actually paid to suppliers, not just what was awarded
  • Pricing benchmark on tender detail — median + interquartile range from comparable awards (last 24 months)
  • Similar-tenders sidebar on every detail page
  • Import your own tender — track an opportunity we don't carry, privately in your workspace. Re-uploading the same document is spotted before it costs you anything
  • CSV export of selected tenders
  • Contract awards browse with supplier search

AI across the workflow

  • Tender summary — long notices and packs digested to the points that matter
  • Translate an EU notice into English — one click on any notice published in another language

  • Discussion points — what to raise with the buyer at pre-market engagement
  • Expression-of-interest draft, ready to edit and send
  • Compliance check — spot the mandatory requirements you'd miss
  • Buyer brief & supplier brief — a one-page read-in on who you're bidding to, or against
  • Bid-library suggestions — the reusable answers that fit this tender
  • Saved-search tuning — AI sharpens a search that's too noisy or too quiet

  • Debrief analysis — patterns across your win/loss reasons
  • Document extract & score — upload a tender pack, get it read and scored
  • Company-profile drafting from your website
  • Included AI allowance every month — no per-call billing surprises

FAQ

Pricing questions

Are there any per-seat charges?

No. £365 / year + VAT covers the workspace and up to five team members. Departments and roles are configurable per member.

How often is the tender data refreshed?

Three times a day. We refresh the full set of UK public-sector notices — every value tier, every devolved nation — and the EU/EEA notices for exporters, then run saved-search, deadline-reminder and company-tracking dispatchers immediately after each refresh so your alerts land within minutes of new tenders going live.

Can I track bids end-to-end?

Yes. The bid pipeline is a 6-stage kanban (Interested → Pursuing → In review → Submitted → Won / Lost) with drag-and-drop, assigned team members, a deliverables checklist, attached documents, threaded comments, reviewer sign-off, win/loss reason tracking and per-bid EOI fields (deadline, sent date, shortlist outcome). One click on any tender starts a bid pre-filled with that tender's metadata. The pipeline page also shows a headline dashboard — win rate, open pipeline value, value won YTD, average days to decision and a bids-per-quarter chart — computed from your own bids, no setup required.

What's the contract length?

Annual, but you can cancel at any time before renewal. No multi-year lock-in.

Can I get an invoice for accounting?

Yes — a VAT invoice is issued when you subscribe. Request a purchase-order route from billing@datascene-tenders.co.uk.

Do you cover above-threshold (high-value) notices?

Yes — high-value frameworks and below-threshold contracts are both covered, and you can filter by value tier on the browse page to scope to either.

Does the membership include spend analytics?

Yes — the analytics dashboard aggregates every contract-award notice we've ingested into top-buyers / top-suppliers / category league tables plus a 12-month trend chart, all filterable by region, CPV branch, buyer, supplier and SME flag. Anonymous visitors can preview an example version; live numbers are members-only.

Is my data secure?

Documents are encrypted at rest with AES-256. Webhook URLs, signing secrets, 2FA shared secrets and SSO client secrets are encrypted with a separate application-managed key. Outbound webhook payloads are signed with HMAC-SHA-256. Sessions are HttpOnly + SameSite=Lax. Passwords are bcrypt-hashed at cost 12. Two-factor authentication (TOTP, free) is one click away in Account → Two-factor auth. OIDC single sign-on — Okta, Entra ID, Google Workspace or any OpenID Connect IdP — is configured at Team → SSO; setup walkthrough on the SSO help page. Every workspace action is captured in the activity log with one-click CSV / email export for compliance review.
