Every tender now suggests the other work you could bid for
The “Similar tenders” panel on a notice now matches on what the work actually is — the capabilities a supplier would need in order to bid — rather than on the buyer’s name. It crosses portals, so a notice on one government site surfaces comparable work published on another, and it only ever suggests tenders still open to bid for, including when you are reading a closed one for research.

Who else wins this kind of work
Tender pages now show the suppliers who have won comparable contracts, how contested that kind of work usually is, and what it typically goes for. Useful before you commit a bid team: a category where the same three names win everything, at values well below yours, is a different proposition from one that is genuinely open.

European notices gain filters, and better data than we credited them with
Export-market notices can now be filtered the same way UK ones are — by category, region, value, procedure, procurement route and whether the contract suits smaller suppliers. Publication and closing dates on European notices were also corrected: they had been showing a day early. Our published comparison of what each market publishes has been re-measured throughout, and understated Europe in several places — notably the winning supplier’s company identifier, which Europe publishes on effectively every award.

Six years of UK award history, not one
Find a Tender history now reaches back to 2021 rather than a few recent months, and Scotland's feed now includes award, planning and update notices we were not previously collecting. Awards carry the winning supplier's size band, country and company number, and how many suppliers bid — across the whole back catalogue, not just new notices.

Find the contracts nobody else is bidding for
Awards can now be ordered by how many suppliers bid. Fewest first surfaces the contracts that drew little competition — usually the most realistic wins for a smaller supplier, and the clearest read on whether a similar contract is worth chasing.

Know whether you can bid before you read the notice
Tenders now show the buyer's own procurement procedure — open, restricted, negotiated and the rest — with a plain-English line on what it means for you, and you can filter the list by it. Open means anyone may tender; restricted means passing a selection stage first. Awards published but not yet in force are flagged, so a competitor's win that could still change is not mistaken for a settled one.
